Blythe cottage is luxuriously appointed, and has been furnished for personal use by it’s owners. In the sitting room there is a colour TV
with Freeview, DVD/CD player, and Ipod docking station, as well as a selection of DVDs. There are also board games (including Monopoly, Cluedo), chess, jigsaws and playing cards. The bookcase is stocked with OS maps and guidebooks of the region.

The hand-painted kitchen is equipped to a very high standard. Integrated Neff appliances include a fan oven with grill, built-in combination microwave, halogen hob, larder fridge, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is a freezer in the cupboard under the stairs. Basic provisions are included in the rental – tea, coffee, sugar, oil, vinegar, salt & pepper, ketchup
etc. |
All beds have duvets and white/neutral bed linen is
provided. Beds are made up prior to your arrival. The
bathroom has a bath with electric shower over the bath,
a hand basin and WC. For the winter months, there is an
electric heated towel rail and under-floor heating.
In the winter the woodburning stove heats up the entire
cottage. In addition there is a night storage
heater in the sitting room with a convector booster.
Upstairs there are electric fan heaters if required. |
The front garden is equipped with a teak table chairs, and a barbeque.
